The problem we're solving
£688 million lost every year to forgotten subscriptions and missed cancellation windows. 68% of people don't fully understand the contracts they sign. 4.3 million sole traders losing nearly £19,000 annually to admin they shouldn't be doing. Legal documents are the most important paperwork in your life and the system is designed to make them impossible to manage.We started Binding Docs because we believed there had to be a better way.
How we got here
When we built Binding Docs, we wanted to solve one problem: people were paying hundreds of pounds for legal documents they didn’t understand, while AI could help them create better documents in minutes — with clear explanations and a fraction of the cost.

The Frustration
We kept watching ordinary people; tenants, parents, freelancers sign documents they didn't understand, miss deadlines they didn't know existed, and lose money they couldn't afford to lose. The legal system wasn't broken for lawyers. It was broken for everyone else.
The Insight
Enterprise legal teams had spent a decade building AI-powered contract management systems costing £200,000+ per year. We realised the same technology could now be delivered to a household through a mobile app for a fraction of the cost.
The Foundation
We built Binding Docs from scratch in London, purpose-built for consumer all type of documents, and designed to explain complex terms the way a trusted friend would. Not a chatbot. A legal concierge.
The Product
50+ document types across six categories. Create through conversation, review with Traffic Light risk scoring, share via Smart Links, store in an encrypted vault. A full document lifecycle platform, not just another template library.
The Traction
Available on App Store and Google Play. Thousands of documents created, reviewed, and monitored. Smart Reminders tracking deadlines across insurance, tenancies, subscriptions, and employment contracts; autonomously.
